The Headquarters of the Council of the EU in Brussels, the Justus Lipsius Building, has traditionally been decorated by the country holding the rotating presidency. From the 1st of July, and until the 31st December 2012, it has become an artistic, yet tangible statement of the Cyprus Presidency.
The artistic decoration of the building is based on a proposal made by the world acclaimed Cypriot designer Michael Anastassiades. Positioned between fine art and design, his work aims to provoke dialogue, participation and interaction.
