Der Ausschuss der ständigen Vertreter (COREPER I) befürwortete heute das Ergebnis des Trilogs des 19. Dezembers 2012, an welchem die beiden Legislativorgane, der Rat der Europäischen Union und das Europäische Parlament, eine Einigung zum Vorschlag für eine neue Verordnung zur Durchsetzung von Zollvorschriften im Bereich Rechte des geistigen Eigentums (IPR) erreichten....

Agreement was reached today in the Council on the compromise texts proposed by the Presidency regarding the financial instrument for the Asylum and Migration Fund, as well as for the Fund on Internal Security for police cooperation, preventing and combating crime and crisis management....

The progress achieved during the Cyprus Presidency of the Council of the EU in the areas of immigration and asylum, the European Border Surveillance System, the fight against human trafficking and the European Year of Citizens 2013 are some of the issues presented by Cyprus' Minister of Interior Ms Eleni Mavrou at the Committee on Civil Liberties, Justice and Home Affairs Committee (LIBE)....

Der letzte formelle Rat Justiz und Inneres unter der Zyprischen Präsidentschaft hatte eine sehr volle Tagesordnung heute in Brüssel. Der zyprische Minister für Justiz und öffentliche Ordnung, Herr Loucas Louca, führte den Vorsitz. Alle Prioritäten der Zyprischen EU Präsidentschaft betreffend den Bereich der Justiz wurden besprochen und der Rat erreichte eine Vereinbarung bei einer Reihe von wichtigen Themen mit dem Ziel, mehr Sicherheit, Gerechtigkeit und Schutz für die EU Bürger zu erreichen....

Am Morgen des zweiten Tages des Rats Justiz und Inneres, wurden verschiedene wichtige Schritte für die Bekämpfung des grenzüberschreitenden und organisierten Verbrechens und für die Stärkung der Rechte der Verbrechensopfer in der Europäischen Union unternommen....

Der Rat Justiz und Inneres (JAI)  bestätigte während des ersten Tages des Treffens die Politische Einigung zur Dublin-Verordnung. Die zyprische Ministerin des Inneren, Frau Eleni Mavrou, und der zyprische Minister für Justiz und öffentliche Ordnung, Herr Loucas Louca, führten den Vorsitz auf dem heutigen Treffen....

The Ministers of Justice and Home Affairs took a further step towards maximising aviation security against terrorism threats, in today's first day of the Justice and Home Affairs (JHA) Council taking place in Brussels on December 6 and 7. Αdopting the  conclusions on aviation security against terrorist threats, the Council agreed on the need for further work on the extension of the risk assessment activities  in the aviation security area beyond the existing ones (cargo and liquid explosives)....

On the morning of the December 7, Cyprus’ Minister of Interior, Ms Eleni Mavrou, will participate in a high level discussion organised by the European Policy Centre (EPC) entitled: “The Common European Asylum System: Successfully achieved?”....

On December 5, the Committee of Permanent Representatives (COREPER II) agreed that the submitted proposal for new legislation on entry and residence of third-country nationals into the EU for the purposes of seasonal employment will serve as the basis for initiating informal trilogues with the European Parliament....

Am 5. Dezember 2012 bestätigte der Ausschuss der Ständigen Vertreter (COREPER) die Einigung über die allgemeine Ausrichtung des Rats für die Marktmissbrauchsverordnung. COREPER gab der Zyprischen Präsidentschaft das Mandat, die Verhandlungen mit dem Europäischen Parlament zu beginnen auf der Basis der vereinbarten allgemeinen Herangehensweise und in Aussicht auf eine Annahme in erster Lesung....

EU Ministers will meet for the final Justice and Home Affairs Council meeting under the Cyprus Presidency on December 6 and 7 in Brussels. Among the issues to be discussed are the Common European Asylum System (CEAS) and the mid-term review of the Stockholm Programme....

Representatives from 47 countries, including most EU member states and the USA, will confirm their commitment to create a Global Alliance aiming to tackle the horrific crime of child sexual abuse online, when they gather in Brussels on December 5.  At the Conference to launch the alliance, ministers of the countries that have already endorsed the alliance, will adopt a joint declaration, which will form the cornerstone of its future decisions and actions....
