Location: House of Arts and Literature, Larnaca

Within the framework of the Cyprus Presidency of the Council of the European Union, the Secretariat for the Presidency is funding the creation and exhibition of the Digital Museum of Zeno of Citium and Stoicism. The overall objective of the Exhibition is to present the thought of Zeno of Citium and Stoicism to the world, during the Cyprus Presidency of the Council of the EU, towards increasing international appreciation of the cultural contribution Cyprus has made to Western civilisation.

The purpose of the Digital Museum of Zeno of Citium and Stoicism is twofold: To disseminate the ideas of Zeno making them accessible to the wider non-academic international public. To create a lively and accessible educational and cultural record of the intellectual heritage of Cyprus, which can be used long-term for school presentations and international representation of Cyprus at cultural festivals.
