The Committee of Permanent Representatives (Coreper I) endorsed today, the outcome of the trilogue held on December 19 2012, where the two co-legislators, the Council of the European Union and the European Parliament reached an agreement on the proposal for a new Regulation on Customs Enforcement of Intellectual Property Rights (IPR)....

Agreement was reached today in the Council on the compromise texts proposed by the Presidency regarding the financial instrument for the Asylum and Migration Fund, as well as for the Fund on Internal Security for police cooperation, preventing and combating crime and crisis management....

The Ministers of Justice and Home Affairs took a further step towards maximising aviation security against terrorism threats, in today's first day of the Justice and Home Affairs (JHA) Council taking place in Brussels on December 6 and 7. Αdopting the  conclusions on aviation security against terrorist threats, the Council agreed on the need for further work on the extension of the risk assessment activities  in the aviation security area beyond the existing ones (cargo and liquid explosives)....

On December 5, the Committee of Permanent Representatives (COREPER II) agreed that the submitted proposal for new legislation on entry and residence of third-country nationals into the EU for the purposes of seasonal employment will serve as the basis for initiating informal trilogues with the European Parliament....

On the 5th of December 2012, the Permanent Representatives Committee (COREPER) confirmed the agreement on the Council’s general approach on the Market Abuse Regulation.
