The President of the Republic of Cyprus, Mr. Demetris Christofias, departs tomorrow for Brussels. In his capacity as the President of the Council of the EU he will attend an informal meeting during a working lunch with Mr. Martin Schulz, President of the European Parliament, Mr. Herman Van Rompuy, President of the European Council, and Mr. José Manuel Barroso, President of the European Commission.

The meeting will deal with the ongoing negotiations on the Multiannual Financial Framework, as well as current issues on the EU agenda.
