On the occasion of the assumption of the Presidency of the Council of the EU by Cyprus, BOZAR Centre for Fine Arts will host “Mapping Cyprus: Crusaders, Traders and Explorers”, an exhibition highlighting the ties between Europe and Cyprus, through icons, maps and paintings....

Starting today, Monday July 2, and over the course of the next two weeks, ten Cyprus government ministers and the Deputy Minister for European Affairs will present the Presidency priorities at the various committees of the European Parliament. As is the case when a member state assumes the rotating EU Presidency, the ministers will outline the priorities in their related fields and will be on hand to answer questions from MEPs....

The official website of the Cyprus EU Presidency, cy2012.eu, is set to be a fast, reliable and transparent information medium for foreign and local media, as well as for the wider public. According to the Cyprus government spokesperson, Mr. Stefanos Stefanou, the website “will constitute the main source of information and a fundamental communications medium concerning issues of the Presidency”....
