The conference theme is Human Biomonitoring (HBM) as a link between environment and health as well as a policy support tool. The aim is to discuss possible ways of integrating HBM in a surveillance infrastructure for monitoring environment and health and the possible use of HBM in supporting and evaluating policy decisions as well as in investigating the correlation between environmental exposure and health.
